Internal Medicine
Internists serve as primary care physicians for adults and geriatric patients. They help their patients with a wide range of health issues including sick visits, preventive care, chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease, and health education. All of CHEMED’s Internists are board certified.

Dr. Elchonon GlantzDr. Elchonon Glantz, Geriatrician, attended Rowan University/New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging where he completed his Residency in Family Medicine and Fellowship in Geriatrics. Dr Glantz will be seeing patients aged 65 and over, his comprehensive exam includes Geriatric Assessment, Medicare Annual Wellness Visit, Memory Screening Assessment Gait and Balance Assessment.

Dr. KassoverDr. Baruch Kassover, maintained a very popular practice in the Long Island area for many years. He has served in a variety of capacities in Maimonides Medical Center and Long Beach Medical Center. Dr Baruch Kassover is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Baruch Kassover is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. David KrohnDr. David Krohn, Dr. Krohn's broad experience includes serving as clinical instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School for 35 years. He was likewise affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital in Brookline as well as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr Krohn also maintained a very popular private practice in Massachusetts and was most recently affiliated with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.

Dr. NewmanDr. Victor Newman, has served as an attending Emergency Room physician at prestigious medical centers including Staten Island University Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center. He was the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia, and was on the Quality Assurance team at Maimonides. His expertise includes an unusually broad scope of experience as well as the unique perspective of a veteran Emergency Room physician.

Shoshana BaconDr. Shoshana Bacon received her bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University and is a cum laude graduate of Technion American Medical School in Haifa, Israel. Her experience includes providing medical care to patients at the Jacobi Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was the first-ever recipient of the Resident of the Month Award. A former member of Jacobi Medical Center's Hospital Leadership Committee and Patient Experience Committee, Dr. Bacon is now applying her expertise and professionalism to providing personalized care for CHEMED's patients.

Pessie KronglasPessie Kronglas, Physician Assistant – PA Kronglas, RPA – C, received her degree from Touro College School of Health Sciences. She is Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Leah ShaffrenLeah Shaffren, RPA - C - PA Shaffren graduated Touro College's School of Health Sciences and is a Board Certified Physician's Assistant. She came to CHEMED from the private practice and Hospital settings.

Elissa PresnerElissa Presner, P.A. PA Presner joined CHEMED with almost ten years of experience in Hospital Emergency Rooms, ICUs and inpatient care. PA Presner is a graduate of Touro College’s Physician Assistant program, and holds a B.S. in Psychobiology from Binghamton University.

Rachel MoskowitzRachel Moskowitz, P.A. With over ten years of experience as a Physician Assistant, including practice in Robert Wood Johnson, PA Moskowitz joined CHEMED’s Internal Medicine Department. Her previous employment includes a particular focus on Pulmonary care. PA Moskowitz is a graduate of Touro College’s Physician Assistant program and holds a B.A. in Psychology from CUNY, Queens College.

Dr KaminetzkyDr Kaminetzky has over 20 years in both private and Community Health Center practice. Previously, he served as the Director of Internal and Specialty Medicine at a New York based Health Center. Dr. Kaminetzky is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
